Bad news im affraid…

Hello Penguins,

I wanted to give you an update about the new Paint By Letters book that was scheduled to launch. We found some bugs that need to be fixed, and unfortunately the game won’t be ready to play yet.

We apologize for the delay and really appreciate your patience as we fix the bugs. We know you’re excited about it and want you to know we are working hard to fix the bugs so when it is launched you can have fun playing it.

I’ll let you know as soon as it’s up and running and in the Book Room!

New Paint by Letters Book sneak peek!

Hello Penguins!

Tomorrow in the Book Room, there will be a brand new Paint By Letters book. Here’s a peek at “Lime Green Dojo Clean”:

If you’ve never played before, it’s a game where you can fill in words as they appear in the story. Sometimes you get a chance to choose words – and the penguin in the story will even be the same color as your penguin!

If you play, be sure to check out the pictures really carefully… You might find a few surprises. As always, we want to know what you think!

Hello Penguins!

Many of you have been asking about being able to get the Club Penguin DS game in other countries, and the team has been working really hard to make it happen. And… we got a great update that we wanted to tell you about.
 

The Club Penguin Elite Penguin Force DS Game is already available in English for some Latin American countries, and we’ve confirmed that in the spring of 2009 (this spring!), it’ll be on the shelves in the United Kingdom and Australia!!

Winter Fiesta!!!

3rd time in a row. Yes, you guessed, the winter fiesta is back. Get your sombrero (or minisombrero) and explore Club Penguin for “new” decorations.

The golden aztec pyramid is back again. I like it but it gets old. The same pinatas from last year are here too.

By far this is the best room ever in the fiesta.

There is a NEW item, a mini sombrero.

And there is a new postcard exclusively for the winter fiesta. It’s in the parties section.

New Login Update!

Logging In

When You LOGIN to ClubPenguin, You will see that there is a new screen! But thats not all! When you refresh the page, a new one will come up!!! 5 Login Screens has came out today! Will there be any more?

Getting Membership

Here is the new screen when you click on the “Create More” of the new ClubPenguin screen.

Player Card

When you click on your player card, ( MEMBERS ONLY! ) you will see a badge:

You can see, if your a member, a little badge:

Membership Updates

Finally ( I THINK ) , new members features will have a badge by it!

Cheats

1.) Login to Club Penguin and go onto a safe chat server.

2. Go to the Night Club and press tab until a yellow box appears around your igloo icon.

3. Walk over to the Dance Game and right before it asks you if you want to play the game, click enter and you should go to your igloo. (Note: The igloo icon must have a yellow box around it)

4. A message will come up in your igloo asking you if you’d like to dance. Click “yes”.

5. Complete at least one dance. The more dances you complete, the better.

6. After you complete a dance, continuously click X to earn coins.

7. After you are finished making coins, log out of Club Penguin to save them to your penguin.

Please note that I will not be responsible for any bans caused by this cheat. (Cheat at your own risk)

Hello Penguins,

We received an overwhelming amount of emails and comments from all of you members over the weekend thanking us for the Dance Party–but WE should be thanking you!

It’s because of you that we are able to keep turning the great ideas and suggestions from the community into reality in Club Penguin. Without you guys we wouldn’t be able to make Club Penguin as fun and safe as it is for everyone. So thank you for all your passion and contribution to the game!

Over the weekend, many of you let us know not only how happy you were we finally had another member party, but asked if we can do more for members in the future.

We are listening – and the answer is yes! This year, we’re going to be adding more creative and exciting activities for you to do as members–and we decided to start now.

The Dance Contest game is going to stick around and we’re giving you the multiplayer mode exclusively! Everyone will be able to play solo, but we wanted to give members something special.

We also decided to add one more thing to the game today, as a way to celebrate being a member. Check your Penguin Mail and look closely at your player card if you’re a member. Right now, only you can see the badge that’s there, but we’re working on making it so that other penguins can see it, too! Let us know what you think.

We will continue making Club Penguin fun for everyone, but without members Club Penguin couldn’t exist.

Ok, No affense ClubPenguin, but i think your going over the line with this ” MORE FOR MEMBERSHIP ” stuff. Your basically forcing people to buy membership. Its not fair on the Non-Members. So, Non-Members will get very small stuff to do. . . .

Partay Extended !!

Hello Penguins!

Thanks for your comments about how much fun you’re having at the party! It was supposed to end on Sunday but we decided to extend it until Tuesday!! So member penguins – you and your friends can keep competing and dancing for another few days!

Some of you have been asking about Cadence and whether or not she will continue to show up at the party over the weekend and I wanted to let you know that she will be! We’ve heard a few concerns that Cadence won’t show up unless the metal landing pad on the rooftop is clear. Don’t worry–she takes the stairs just like you! So feel free to use the entire area to show off your moves!

The weird thing is that she doesn’t talk in uppercases like Rockhopper or the other famous penguins.

Member Party: Epic Win!

It’s here. And IMO, it’s the best one. Yeah, the member party in the dance club started and will extend until the monday.

This party just has everything.  Look at this, this thing welcomes you when you enter to the room.

Thereis a free item, the boombox. And you can do a dance with it.

By far, the best thing in the party is the game. In this game, you have to dance to win. You can dance in single player or multiplayer.

The second floor is not so special at all, but has its funny things. A clear example is Make Some Noise, Miley Cyrus reference spotted.

Lookies i found an anvil yes.

And last but not least, the rooftop, aka the new room. You can clearly see the landing pad from Jetpack Adventure.

Overall, I rate this party 10/10. This party impressed me, as the song says, EPIC WIN.

Hey Penguins!

Thursdays are newspapers, and i think that the ONLY MEMBERS party is kinda harsh to you non-members. Although, on the other hand, Members havent gotten members only parties for a while…..Tell me and TomY what you think!

Hello Penguins!

Many of you have been asking about a member party and wondering when there would be another one–it’s definitely been a while since the last one.

Well, we’ve been working on exactly that! The next member party will happen in the middle of January, from the 15-18th. But it’s more than just a party–wait till you see what else the team has planned! I’ll have more details next week, and I don’t want to say too much – but I can tell you that some of the items in the new Penguin Style catalog will come in very handy.
